01. Information We Collect
We may collect the following categories of information when you use Nobolite:
- Account Information: your email address, login credentials, verification codes, and account status.
- Profile Information: your display name, public handle or ID, bio, motivational sentence, profile image, account type, and region details such as country or state.
- User Content: comments, replies, likes, follows, votes, reports, profile updates, and other content you choose to create or share.
- Ranking and Activity Data: community pulse activity, follower and following relationships, ranking visibility settings, and public engagement statistics.
- Technical Information: device and app usage information, IP address, general diagnostics, crash data, approximate region signals, and similar technical data necessary to operate and secure the service.
- Uploaded Media: profile photos and other images you submit through the service.
- Communications: password reset emails, OTP login or verification emails, service notices, and support messages.
- Moderation, Security, and Activity Data: moderation records, security codes, notifications, and app-activity duration used to operate and improve the service.
02. How We Use Information
We use collected information to:
- create and manage your Nobolite account;
- authenticate sign-in attempts and send verification or password reset codes;
- display and maintain your profile, profile image, rankings, and public reputation activity;
- enable comments, replies, follows, likes, notifications, and community pulse interactions;
- prevent spam, abuse, impersonation, fraud, unauthorized access, and manipulation of rankings or engagement features;
- moderate content and enforce our community standards;
- improve app performance, reliability, and user experience;
- respond to support requests and account-related inquiries; and
- comply with legal obligations and resolve disputes.
03. Public information and visibility
Nobolite is a public reputation and community platform. Your public handle or Nobolite ID, display name, profile image, public comments and replies, likes, follows, follower counts, and ranking-related signals may be visible to other users. You should only publish information, images, and statements that you are comfortable sharing within the service.
You may have access to settings that control whether certain ranking details are visible. Turning ranking visibility off removes a profile from public ranking lists, but the profile may still remain searchable or reachable by direct access where needed for the platform to function.
04. Identified chat and consent
Nobolite does not provide random or anonymous chat matching. Before a first conversation begins, the recipient sees the sender's profile photo, display name, and Nobolite ID. The first message remains hidden until the recipient accepts the request. The recipient may decline, report, or block the sender, and voice or video calls are unavailable until the request is accepted.
05. App activity and authorized access
While the app is open in the foreground, Nobolite sends periodic activity heartbeats and aggregates them into daily activity time. This helps users understand their habits and helps authorized administrators monitor service health, investigate abnormal use, and plan capacity. Background time and long idle gaps are excluded. Activity totals are available to the account holder and authorized administrators and are not displayed publicly.
06. Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in the following situations:
- With other users: when your profile or content is intentionally public within the app.
- With service providers: hosting, infrastructure, storage, database, analytics, authentication, email delivery, customer support, and similar operational providers that help us run Nobolite.
- For legal reasons: if required to comply with law, protect user safety, investigate misuse, or enforce our rights and policies.
- Business changes: if Nobolite is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or asset transfer, information may be transferred as part of that transaction subject to applicable law.
07. Google Calendar and Google Tasks data
Connecting Google is optional. With your permission, Nobolite accesses your Google account email, calendar list and selected calendar events, including titles, descriptions, locations, dates and times. If you grant Google Tasks access, Nobolite also accesses task lists, task titles, notes, due dates and completion status.
We use this information to identify your connected account, let you choose calendars and a task group, display events and tasks in your daily plan, and synchronize your changes. Synchronization can create, update or delete events in your selected writable Google calendar and update or delete linked Google tasks when you perform those actions in Nobolite. Google Tasks does not supply task start and end times through this integration; scheduling and focus information added in Nobolite is maintained separately.
Our backend stores authorization credentials, imported plans and synchronization records to operate the connection, including background calendar synchronization. The app may cache connected-calendar and task information on your device. Imported plans are private by default.
08. Sharing and disclosure of Google user data
Google Calendar and Google Tasks data is processed by Nobolite and our hosting and database infrastructure provider, Railway, to store and synchronize your connected plans. We send the information needed for your requested synchronization actions back to Google Calendar and Google Tasks. These providers receive data as necessary to operate these features.
If you separately connect and authorize ChatGPT to access your Nobolite tasks, task information requested through that connection is transmitted to OpenAI, including titles, descriptions, dates, times and completion status. This can include plans imported from Google. Google authorization tokens are not sent to ChatGPT. You can disconnect the ChatGPT connection in Nobolite. If you choose to make an imported plan public or share its content, that information becomes available to the audience you select.
We do not sell Google user data or provide it to advertisers or data brokers. Nobolite does not use Google user data for advertising, creditworthiness or lending decisions, or to train generalized artificial intelligence or machine-learning models. We may disclose data when required by applicable law. Google user data is not otherwise shared for purposes unrelated to the user-facing connected features described here.
The Google-specific restrictions in this section apply to Google user data even where the general sharing sections describe broader uses of other Nobolite information.
09. Protection of Google user data
Nobolite uses HTTPS/TLS for communication between the app and our public backend and for requests to Google APIs. Google OAuth access and refresh credentials are encrypted before database storage using AES-256-GCM. The encryption key is configured separately from the stored credentials in the backend environment; credentials are bound to the owning Nobolite profile and are not returned to the app.
Backend calendar and task endpoints authenticate the requesting user and check ownership of the Nobolite profile. The optional ChatGPT connection uses separate authorization grants tied to the account. These controls restrict access to connected data and synchronization actions. No transmission or storage system can guarantee absolute security.
10. Google connection retention and deletion
We retain the connection credentials and synchronization data while needed to provide the enabled connection. You can pause synchronization or disconnect Google in Settings, Connections, Calendars. Disconnecting removes the stored Google credentials and cached calendar and appointment lists from the backend and stops future synchronization; a request already in progress may finish. You can also revoke access in your Google Account permissions.
Disconnecting does not delete plans already imported into Nobolite or the original events and tasks in Google. Delete those separately if you no longer want them. While the connection remains active, deleting a linked item can also delete it from Google as part of synchronization. Remaining Nobolite plan and synchronization records are subject to the Data Retention and account-deletion provisions of this policy. 11. Email and account verification
Nobolite may send one-time passwords, login codes, password reset emails, security verification emails, and important account notices. These messages are required for account security and service functionality.
Security-sensitive actions such as email, password, and ID changes may require verification.
12. Content ownership and responsibility
You remain responsible for all content you submit, including profile information, comments, replies, and uploaded images. By posting content, you confirm that you have the right to share it and that it does not violate another person’s privacy, intellectual property, safety, or legal rights.
13. Reporting, blocking, and moderation
Users can report chats, profiles, posts, recaps, comments, replies, and Moments, and can block abusive users from a profile or directly inside a chat. Blocking removes that user from the blocker's experience as quickly as possible, including profile, feed, chat, and notification visibility. Reports are reviewed by Nobolite, and moderation actions may include dismissal, content deletion, account disabling, permanent removal, or legal escalation where required.
14. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as necessary to provide the service, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
If you disable your account, some information may remain retained for operational, legal, safety, audit, or abuse-prevention reasons. If you request deletion of your account, we will process that request in accordance with our systems, legal obligations, and legitimate retention needs.
15. Your Choices and Rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the right to:
- access or review certain account information;
- update your profile details and account settings;
- request password reset access or security verification;
- disable your account;
- request deletion of your account; and
- contact us regarding questions about your personal information.
To make a privacy-related request, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests.
Users can disable or delete their accounts subject to Nobolite’s technical, moderation, safety, and legal obligations.
16. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to protect information against unauthorized access, misuse, alteration, disclosure, or loss. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
17. Children's Privacy
Nobolite is not intended for children under the age required by applicable law to use the service without parental permission. If you believe a child has provided personal information in violation of applicable law, contact us and we will review the matter.
Nobolite may review reports, account activity, uploaded content, profile information, comments, replies, and other relevant platform signals to detect abusive or exploitative behavior. Where appropriate, we may remove content, restrict visibility, suspend accounts, disable access, or permanently delete accounts.
Nobolite may preserve relevant records and cooperate with lawful requests from authorities where necessary to protect users, investigate abuse, and comply with applicable legal obligations related to child safety.
18. International Processing
Your information may be processed and stored in countries other than your own, depending on where our systems or service providers operate. By using Nobolite, you understand that information may be transferred to and processed in these locations subject to applicable safeguards and legal requirements.
19. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect product changes, legal requirements, or operational improvements. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of Nobolite after an updated policy becomes effective means the updated policy will apply going forward.
